In the middle of June, =kiviraat and I will be walking the Southern Upland Way, a 212 mile long distance walk from the west coast of Scotland to the east. Kadri is walking in aid of the charity she works for, Cats Protection, and all proceeds raised will go to her local branch. I am really stoked about doing this walk! I feel fitter now than I have for the past couple of years (well, really since I stopped martial arts training and I realised that I was starting to "let myself go"). We've taken two and a half weeks off to do it. Sure, we could probably do it in less time but I want to enjoy myself! Plus, there are a couple of huge stretches where there are no facilities, with climbs over almost 3000ft, so we want to take our time and pace ourselves. I'm not new to camping - I've just not attempted such a long walk before.

Wish us luck, and if we don't make it back, avenge our deaths!
